About Scott Welikey, CPA, CFP®

Scott founded the firm to provide comprehensive and objective financial planning services to individuals and their families. His hope is to develop long-term relationships with clients and help guide them towards achieving their financial and life goals. He remains steadfast in the belief that one of the most valuable “returns” he can provide to clients is financial peace of mind – allowing them to more fully enjoy other aspects of their lives.

After graduating from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Scott worked for Deloitte & Touche, LLP, a leading global accounting and consulting firm. Subsequently, as part of a successful corporate career, he held positions as the Corporate Controller of a publicly-traded corporation and was the Chief Financial Officer of a privately-owned company. Ultimately, motivated to make a more direct positive impact on the lives of individuals, he established Welikey Financial Planning in 2009.

Scott is a Certified Financial Planner™, CFP® and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of New York. He is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and a NAPFA-Registered Advisor. NAPFA is the nation’s leading organization of fee-only comprehensive planning professionals.

On a more personal level, Scott is passionate about enjoying good pizza and sharing travel adventures with his wife, Nancy. After having finally visited all 50 U.S. states, he is very happy to have accomplished one of his long standing goals and ready to explore other destinations on his “bucket list”.
